Garden maintenance worker wanted in Champaign County

Join our team: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Champaign County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers. Ideal candidate: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience.
