Great opportunity: we are hiring a nursery worker in Dimmit County, Texas. You will be based on the grounds of a hotel resort. Requirements: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish On a typical shift you will rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds.
