Immediate opening: we are hiring a press shop operator in Hidalgo County, Texas. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses On the job you will handle: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
