Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles On the job you will handle: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Part-time with flexible hours.
