Urgent requirement: toolroom milling operator (Florida)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Marion County, Florida. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. Your main tasks: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe What we are looking for: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
