Trainee butcher wanted in Nance County

Now hiring: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Nance County, Nebraska. On a typical shift you will portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking. Ideal candidate: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
