Butcher — Akuku Toru

Vacancy available: we are hiring a butcher in Akuku Toru, Rivers State. Your main tasks: • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone Requirements: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter 6+ years on the tools preferred. ₦190,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
