Ideal candidate: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience On a typical shift you will top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; report defects and book the unit in for servicing; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock.
