Join our team: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Todd County, Minnesota. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. Your main tasks: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Strong attention to safety and load limits Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
