Join our team: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. The role involves: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
