Heavy equipment operator — Frederick County

Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Frederick County, Maryland. You will work at a drainage and utilities contractor. Day-to-day duties: • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
