Framing carpenter — Gillespie County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Gillespie County, Texas. The job is at a shopfitting company. Your main tasks: • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain What we are looking for: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
