Hydraulic press operator • Sefton, England

We are recruiting: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Sefton, England. The job is at a busy press shop. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred On the job you will handle: • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling Pay around £1,800 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
