Now hiring: we are hiring a meat cutter in Williamson County, Tennessee. The role involves break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone. What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
