Brick and block layer • Borgu, Niger State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Borgu, Niger State. Day to day you will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
