Join our team: we are hiring a horticulturist in Shelby County, Alabama. You will be based on a golf course. Requirements: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules On the job you will handle: • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers Six days a week, one day off.
