Immediate opening: trainee butcher (Georgia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Mitchell County, Georgia. The role involves monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
