Turning centre operator • Falkirk, Scotland

We are recruiting: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Falkirk, Scotland. You will write and edit G-code programs at the control; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish. Requirements: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. £2,450 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
