Fabricator-welder wanted in Wukari

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Wukari, Taraba State. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Day-to-day duties: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
