Join our team: we are hiring a cnc turner in Sandwell, England. The job is on the CNC turning shop floor. Day to day you will adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; write and edit G-code programs at the control; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed. Requirements: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
