Estate gardener • Ocean County, New Jersey

Immediate opening: we are hiring an estate gardener in Ocean County, New Jersey. Your main tasks: • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Happy to work outdoors in all weather Six days a week, one day off.
