Rigger • Guma, Benue State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigger in Guma, Benue State. Day-to-day duties: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Full-time, day shift.
