The role involves cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
