Immediate opening: we are hiring an articulated lorry driver in Okeechobee County, Florida. The job is at a haulage company. Your main tasks: • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards What we are looking for: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules 1+ years on the tools preferred.
