Vacancy available: sample machinist (Bauchi State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sample machinist in Giade, Bauchi State. You will be based at a busy garment factory. You should have: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Day-to-day duties: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
