Now hiring: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Collin County, Texas. The job is in a die and mould making unit. The role involves set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production. Ideal candidate: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
