Sausage maker — Dawakin Kudu

Now hiring: we are hiring a sausage maker in Dawakin Kudu, Kano State. Your main tasks: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
