Ladle pourer • Onicha, Ebonyi State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Onicha, Ebonyi State. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. On a typical shift you will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry 1+ years on the tools preferred.
