We are recruiting: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Scott County, Illinois. The job is at an automotive components factory. Your main tasks: • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness You should have: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Willing to work shifts and overtime Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
