Urgent requirement: lorry driver (Assam)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lorry driver in Kamrup Metropolitan, Assam. You will be based in a refrigerated transport fleet. Your main tasks: • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays Ideal candidate: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Full-time with occasional weekends.
