Immediate opening: steam press operator (Benue State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steam press operator in Oturkpo, Benue State. You will work at a textile finishing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Give each garment a final press before packing • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents You should have: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. ₦215,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
