Immediate opening: horticulturist (Alabama)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a horticulturist in Madison County, Alabama. You will work in a public park. Day to day you will operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings. What we are looking for: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
