Now hiring: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Calabar South, Cross River State. You will work in a hotel or restaurant butchery. You will keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder. Requirements: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter ₦220,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts.
