Core maker — Kauru

Great opportunity: we are hiring a core maker in Kauru, Kaduna State. Day-to-day duties: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
