Confectioner — Clark County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a confectioner in Clark County, Illinois. You will work at a cake shop. Day-to-day duties: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Score the top of loaves before baking What we are looking for: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Basic cake decorating and piping skills 6+ years on the tools preferred.
