Join our team: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Moray, Scotland. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron On a typical shift you will measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines. 2+ years on the tools preferred. £1,750 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
