Pastry baker wanted in Sefton

Join our team: we are hiring a pastry baker in Sefton, England. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. Your main tasks: • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream Requirements: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Pay around £110 per day, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
