Now hiring: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Orange County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Full-time with occasional weekends.
