Urgent requirement: sausage maker (Iowa)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sausage maker in Kossuth County, Iowa. On the job you will handle: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools You should have: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
