Now hiring: we are hiring a powder coater in Douglas County, Illinois. The job is on an industrial coating line. You will degrease and clean metal parts before coating; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun. What we are looking for: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
