Fabrication workshop technician • Riyom, Plateau State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Riyom, Plateau State. You will work at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. What we are looking for: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres On the job you will handle: • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
