The role involves follow food hygiene and allergen-handling rules; pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left; take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad; upsell starters, desserts and beverages; punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket); restock side stations with sauces, condiments and napkins.
