Great opportunity: we are hiring a counter butcher in Charanchi, Katsina State. Day to day you will debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights. Requirements: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required 3+ years on the tools preferred.
