Great opportunity: we are hiring a retail butcher in Iseyin, Oyo State. The role involves dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights. Requirements: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Six days a week, one day off.
