Urgent requirement: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Stevens County, Kansas. Your main tasks: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Season and marinate meat on request • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder Ideal candidate: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
