Now hiring: we are hiring a counter butcher in Pherzawl, Manipur. The job is in a meat processing plant. You will trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled. Ideally you have quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths; clean, presentable and friendly at the counter; able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler.
