Urgent requirement: fabrication workshop technician (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Ogle County, Illinois. You will be based in the profile cutting and welding bay. The role involves clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits Part-time with flexible hours.
