Finish carpenter — Augie

Vacancy available: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Augie, Kebbi State. You will be based in a bespoke joinery workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level Requirements: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
