You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Day-to-day duties: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size Full-time, day shift.
