Confectioner — Tift County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a confectioner in Tift County, Georgia. The job is at an in-store supermarket bakery. On a typical shift you will laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them. You should have: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Basic cake decorating and piping skills At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours.
